Stephanie Burchfield, APR

Stephanie started her corporate career in p.r. as the communications executive and spokesperson for a $900M, publicly traded footwear company. Prior to entering the field public relations, Stephanie worked as a print journalist, reporting for the Los Angeles Times, Daily News and Herald-Examiner. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and also worked as part-time faculty at her alma mater, California State University, Northridge, teaching editing, layout and graphic design, while finishing up grad school. She has been a member of the Public Relations Society of America for 30 years and earned the Accredited Public Relations designation in 1994, a designation she currently maintains.
With the creation of BWPR, Inc. in 1996, Stephanie fulfilled a professional dream and has been able to practice a craft she loves while helping her clients earn well-deserved national visibility and awards for outstanding achievement.
